Peak Performance’s Aquatic Therapy Program is suitable for everyone, even those struggling to walk. William, a patient in our New Hyde Park Office, was struggling with walking and standing- then he was recommended to try out Aquatic Therapy. He experienced positive changes and progress, he had nothing but great things to say about his recovery and his Physical Therapy team! Read about William’s experience below:
“The level of team work and cooperation is really helpful to the patient. If my therapist is busy and I finish an exercise another staff member will set me up on the next machine without being asked. I’m a retired hospital administrator and I know what indicates a well run unit . The skill and attitude of the staff is exceptional. They are very careful about patient care and hygiene. Equipment is always cleaned after use and put away, hands are washed ,tables disinfected etc.. Along with this the cheerful attitude is infectious. The feeling of positive expectation gives a sense of optimism and hope . I noticed it especially when I first came in and couldn’t walk. I work with Zach and Carlo primarily but have been helped by everybody on the team. I find the front desk and billing dept. easy to work with and pleasant. Carlo makes the aquatic therapy a lot of fun. If you served Margaritas at the pool it would be ideal. I’ve made faster progress than I expected and feel very hopeful about complete recovery.”
