Balance for Life patient, Paul Stein, has been receiving Physical Therapy from Peak Performance for several months. He suffered two traumatic incidents where he was unable to walk without falling down due to severe dizziness. His physical and cognitive state were alarming- until he discovered Peak Performance’s Balance For Life Program.
Emory Certified Vestibular Therapist, Mitch Henig, worked closely with Stein over the course of his recovery. Over this span of time Paul regained full mobility, cognition, and confidence maneuvering daily tasks that used to be nearly impossible.
Paul’s happiness with his recovery goes beyond words, see his inspirational account of his recovery below:

Vertigo is the sensation of spinning-even when you are sitting perfectly still. This condition is associated with the inner-ear “vestibular” system that is responsible for your equilibrium. At Peak Performance, our Balance For Life Program is designed specifically to help treat patients suffering with vertigo and vestibular disorders.
Read more below on how to determine if you have vertigo, if you answer “yes” to most of these, your next step would be to schedule an evaluation with one of our Vestibular-Specialized Therapists.
