Osteoporosis Prevention Program

Osteoporosis is a major public health threat for 28 million Americans, 80% of whom are women. Building strong bones can be the best defense against developing osteoporosis, and a healthy lifestyle can be critically important for keeping bones strong. Osteoporosis is largely preventable for most people. Prevention of this disease is very important because there currently is no cure.

We offer a comprehensive program that combines proper exercises, lifestyle modifications, and nutritional guidance. Weekly nutritional counseling sessions, a progressive exercise prescription and personal training sessions are included

Post Cardiac Rehabilitation

Our post cardiac rehabilitation program focuses on phase III and phase IV candidates. Our program follows both the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation and the American College of Sports Medicine guidelines for exercise testing and prescription. The program includes a fitness evaluation and a progressive exercise prescription. Exercise physiologists are on staff to assist and educate members on monitoring heart rate and blood pressure during their exercise sessions. Individualized supervision is also available.

Cholesterol Reduction Program

Did you know that heart disease kills more Americans than any other illness? High Blood Cholesterol is a major but modifiable risk factor for heart disease. For most individuals, a decrease in cholesterol levels can be achieved by healthier diet, exercise and weight control. Nutritional education is implemented to target an individual's unique eating and lifestyle habits. Specific dietary and lifestyle modifications can then be made to help in reducing their risk for heart disease.
