As many pros as there are to playing the game, there are unfortunately cons as well. One major con of playing football are the chances of getting a concussion. Football players are constantly getting hit and taking hard hits to the head, but how do you know when your injury is a concussion and not just a regular hit? It is important to watch out for the symptoms of having a concussion and knowing when to take yourself out of the game if you think you have one. Some symptoms of a concussion are, lightheadedness, headache, pressure in your head, dizziness, confusion, vision problems, and nausea are just a few. You may love the game so much that you might ignore these symptoms and convince yourself that you are fine. Concussions can lead to worse conditions if not taken seriously and can lead to you never playing football again. If you had to choose between sitting out for a game or for the rest of your life, the choose is simple. Take care of your body and you will love the game even more!
