Sports are a popular past time activity many young adolescents take part in. Unfortunately, in sports today, a staggering 300,000 young athletes are injured each year playing baseball. Baseball and Softball require an all year round participation, leaving little or no time for the body to recuperate and restore itself. The strain that is placed on the body from not resting makes the athletes more susceptible to overuse injuries. These injuries include shoulder, elbow, core and lower extremity complications.
